The Indira Gandhi National Open University announced that it will eventually allow provisional admission to job seekers of the July 2020 session, but without the requirement of results of the qualifying test. IGNOU has notified this inside a press statement released on Saturday.
The university has taken the decision inside the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic which has led to delay of examination procedure and results of several educational institutions across the nation. Students who are seeking to join higher education are not able to generate the results of their qualifying exams.
In order to grant consolation to prospects aspirational students, the Indira Gandhi National Open University would grant Provisional Admission. This procedure have been provided keeping with the guidelines and restrictions issued by the University Grants Commission, the official declaration of IGNOU said.
Further, this statement said that the aforementioned procedure conceded for the students is subject to a couple of conditions.
Candidates are subjected to the next conditions for the provisional admission:
– All applicants of the Programmes that eligibility qualification for admission is really a Bachelor degree, should clear the other year/5th semester of the Bachelor Degree. They should have the marks sheet for the same submitted already.
– All candidates of the Programmes for which minimum amount eligibility is 10+2 or comparative, have appeared in the 10+2 or perhaps corresponding examination coordinated by the personal School Board in the year 2020, also their very own results are expected.
