Apple is extending the free period for its Apple TV + 1 year of free trials which will now expire in July 2021.

Apple first launched the Apple TV + service alongside a one-year free trial in November 2019 for users purchasing new hardware such as iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Apple TV or Mac, Tech Crunch reported.

The tech giant previously extended the trial period until February 2021.

With the new expansion, any user who has not already canceled their subscription will be able to use the service and access Apple’s original shows and movies for free for the next six months.

Apple will notify eligible customers of the extension via email within the next two weeks, as noted in the report. It will compensate existing subscribers with credit repayments.

According to the report, customers who already pay for AppleTV + or have integrated it into the Apple One bundle will receive $ 4.99 per month in-store credit for the period February through June to offset the cost. of their subscription.
