Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Inoculation began Wednesday for people ages 18 to 44 in the state. Vaccination of people over 44 is also underway.

Long queues have been seen outside the city’s vaccination centers since morning. Vaccination will take place on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday at all notified centers other than district hospitals and state medical teaching hospitals. In district hospitals and university medical hospitals, inoculation will only take place on Tuesday and Friday.

In accordance with the national health mission, all beneficiaries born before May 1, 2003 are eligible for vaccination.

Vaccination began in 104 centers in Madhya Pradesh on Wednesday with 10,400 doses of vaccine. A total of 416 session sites were allocated for immunization on May 8 and 10 while 960 session sites were reserved for May 12, May 13 and May 15.
