The online learning platform Byju’s has acquired Epic, a digital reading platform for children 12 and under, based in Palo Alto, for $ 500 million, the company said on Wednesday.

The acquisition would help Byju expand its presence in the United States by providing access to two million teachers and 50 million children in Epic’s global user base.
