Sri Durga Malleswara Swamyvarla Devasthanam has decided to restrict darshan hours in preparation for the second wave of COVID-19.

Kanaka Durga Temple General Manager D. Bhramaramba said in a statement Tuesday that darshan hours would be 6.30am to 11am due to the government-imposed curfew. The curfew would be applied from noon.

The faithful were asked to take note of the change in schedule. The temple priests, however, would perform all rituals according to the regular schedule. Arjita sevas would be performed on behalf of the faithful if the necessary tickets are purchased.

In another statement, authorities in Patha Sivalayam said the darshan hours would be from 6 a.m. to 11 a.m.
