Regarding employees from other States / Union Territories except Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Pondicherry, they should be quarantined at home for 14 days.
In the event of the death of an employee who tested positive for COVID-19, the state government would proceed with the cremation / burial and no strangers or friends would be allowed to attend the funeral or pay respect to the deceased employee. All employees were invited to present their respects and condolences by telephone. “It is strongly recommended not to attempt to visit the residence of the employee who died COVID-19 positive or to visit family members, as this would increase the risk of infection …”, said the SOP .
