The BCCI has granted No Objection Certificate (NOC) to four Indian women cricketers, including T20 captain Harmanpreet Kaur, to play in the ‘Hundred’ tournament, which starts in the UK from 21 July.

Opener Smriti Mandhana and all-rounder Deepti Sharma are one of the four for the 100-ball tournament. The name of the fourth player is not yet known.

A BCCI source said that Harmanpreet, Mandhana, Deepti and one other player have been cleared as the BCCI has given a no-objection certificate to them.

It is learned that these four Indian players will extend their stay in the UK after the completion of India’s multi-format tour of England in June-July.

The tour begins with a one-time Test in Bristol on 16 June and concludes with the third and final T20I on 15 July.

A three-match ODI series is played in between.

The Indian team is yet to be announced for the tour.
