Turmeric is known as the miracle spice because of its magical properties which benefit us in different ways. It is used as a medicinal plant from ancient times. Dry turmeric is rich in vitamin A, thiamine (B1), riboflavin (B2), vitamin C also contains a good amount of calcium, phosphorus, iron, sodium and potassium.

Recently, science has started doing research with proven clinical studies claiming that it contains compounds called “curcuminoids” which are used as a medicinal spice to treat different ailments and related illnesses. Turmeric contains curcumin which is a natural anti-inflammatory that helps fight inflammation caused by any disease or illness.

Turmeric increases the antioxidant capacity of the body because it neutralizes free radicals on its own, but also stimulates the antioxidant enzymes in your body.
The curcumin in turmeric can improve cognitive function and also helps protect brain functions by increasing the level of BDNF in the brain. Turmeric is a wonderful magic spice for joint health because it helps treat symptoms of joint problems and reduce inflammation.

To check for stomach problems: Helps relieve gas formation in the stomach and the discomfort caused by indigestion.

Very powerful for treating bronchitis: Take 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder with lukewarm water 3 times a day, it will melt the phlegm.

To give protection against cancer: Add 2 teaspoons of turmeric powder to a cup of water, stir and take regularly twice a day. It contains active compounds (curcumol and curdione), which have strong cytotoxic effects against some forms of cancer.

To relieve pain and itchy skin: Mix the turmeric powder with the lime juice and a little water to obtain a smooth paste. Put it directly on herpes lesions, eczema, psoriasis, pimples and even leprosy sores.

To relieve sprains and internal injuries: Take 1 spoonful of turmeric powder in 2 cups of milk, simmer and let cool, drink daily morning and night for best results.
