The new Sunrisers captain will put his side against the Royals’ fellow players

Lower-ranked Sunrisers Hyderabad are hopeful that there will be a change of captain for the Rajasthan Royals, who finished seventh at Delhi’s Arun Jaitley Stadium on Sunday. Kane Williamson took over as captain of SRH from David Warner for the remaining matches of IPL 2021 on Saturday.

The franchise also announced that its overseas combination would change.

SRH’s five defeat methods have exposed its middle-order fraud. This side is more dependent on Williamson and Johnny Bairstow. Manish Pandey’s 61-ball 61 was expected in the last match (vs. CSK), but Warner’s painstaking fifty did not calm the nerves. It is possible that Jason Holder or Jason could replace Roy Warner.

The bowling will again revolve around Rashid Khan. Bhuvneshwar Kumar, who missed the back-to-back game, is yet to fit.

For RR, captain Sanju Samson (42 vs. KKR, 42 vs. MI) is back and is expected to rub off on the likes of Jose Butler, who has only 130 runs in six innings (SR: 127: 45).

The RR’s decision to send Shivam Dubey in front of David Miller against MI requires Miller’s batting.

Jaydev Unadkat, Mustafizur Rahman and Chetan Sakaria’s left-handed trio has been clever but inconsistent.

Chris Morris has become a good death-bowling option.

Both sides are desperate for a win to revive their playoff quest.
