Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy ordered that a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) be developed for the full resurvey of land for surveyor level up to joint collectors to ensure the exercise is smooth and infallible.
He also wanted circuit courts to follow a standard procedure for properly dealing with public grievances.
At a land resurvey review meeting on Wednesday, Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy said settlements under development for the poor should be included in the project and each house should be given a unique identity number. .

The Chief Minister requested that land registration be carried out in the village secretariats, once the re-surveying exercise is completed and a call center is set up to clarify any doubts that may be raised by secretariat staff.
The CM said land titles under the “Pedalandariki Illu” program could be distributed until January 30 as it was a time consuming process and each beneficiary had to be shown the plots allocated to them. . He asked officials to ensure that documents are delivered to beneficiaries within 90 days.
