Mandsaur (Madhya Pradesh): Gau Arogya Seva Samiti came to the rescue of an injured one year old camel, who was starving on the side of the road for 2 days near Suthod Dera in Malhargarh tehsil on the Mhow-Neemuch highway, about 22 km from here.
After receiving information on WhatsApp, the head of the organization Om Barodia and his team reached the site and brought the badly injured camel in a private vehicle to Gaushala on Tuesday, where its treatment is underway.
The camel was struck by a vehicle which broke his legs. He was unable to walk. “His front leg and back leg were fractured. The place where the legs are fractured cannot be joined and he will have to spend his life in this condition only. The camel is one year old, ”said Barodia.
He said traders bring camels which abandon them when injured. “Action should be taken against these people. Before entering the state, the state must have complete information about them. Their responsibility towards the camels must be guaranteed, ”he added.
