Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank announced on Tuesday that the joint (main) entrance exam for the May session has been postponed, due to student safety.

“Students are advised to continue to visit the official website of the NTA (National Testing Agency) for further updates,” Dr Nishank tweeted.

The May session had been scheduled earlier on May 24, 25, 26, 27 and 28. The April session had already been postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
