AI Monitored Online Exam Completed
Learning Spiral conducted an online AI-supervised semester exam for MAKAUT (formerly West Bengal University of Technology, Kolkata). The total of tests performed was over 6.00,000 and approximately 10.00,000 student photos were submitted for AI analysis. About 2000 articles were generated from more than 150,000 questions. A team of over 200 virtual supervisors from online technical support staff has been deployed to ensure student participation in this campaign.

Women-only conference on cybersecurity
Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham hosted ShaktiCon 2021, an international women-only electronic conference on cybersecurity. Learning Disabilities Roundtable

The Sutardja Center for Entrepreneurship & Technology (SCET) at the University of California at Berkeley announced a partnership with The Purpose Academy, a 1M1B (One Million for One Billion) program in partnership with the Innovation Acceleration Group (IAG) to give young minds a unique exposure to real-time problem solving to create real impact. SCET will help support the initiative by connecting students with UC Berkeley campus and faculty, and providing mentorship to UC Berkeley students. Students will be matched with grassroots organizations and given real challenges to solve using systems thinking and responsible AI. After a successful pilot batch, The Purpose Academy is launching a call for applications for the summer program (June-August 2021). The 14th edition of Baja SAEIndia 2021 recently ended at Chitkara University. Periyar University launches online courses
Periyar University of Salem announced the launch of an online learning portal www.periyaedu.in to offer undergraduate and postgraduate programs in several fields. This initiative is part of the 2020 national education policy (NEP2020). Students will appear for remote proctored exams and classes will be a mix of live learning complemented by content, study guides, practice tests, discussion forums, recorded tutorials, and gamified modules.
