Even entries selected in the first round will get an extension to apply for the visa, USCIS said. The initial filing period for those with selected records for fiscal year 2022 was April 1, 2021 to June 30.
However, online filing will not be available for H-1B applicants.
USCIS added that an H-1B cap-subject request must be properly filed at the appropriate service center and within the filing period indicated on the relevant registration selection notice.
Petitions will be filed on paper and must include a printed copy of the applicable entry selection notice along with the FY2022 H-1B cap-subject petition.
