Ujjain: Grocery store operators were only allowed to provide home delivery under Janta’s curfew. But, as of Saturday, the administration allowed grocery stores to serve customers from 8 a.m. to noon.

Collector Asheesh Singh and SP Satyendra Kumar Shukla provided an update on the situation in the city, including Daulatganj, Favvara Chowk Chowk via Freeganj, Dewasgate and Dudhtalai.
They also inspected Kanthal at Mirzanaimbeg Marg, Dhaba Road, Danigate via Nai Sadak, Tanki Chouraha at Gopal Mandir, Gudri among others. They also directed the duty cops to various locations.
Collector said people can buy products from stores near their homes, following corona protocols.
If the rules are not followed, the home delivery rule may be imposed again, he added.

Covidiots: the Namkeen store and the sealed book depot
Despite the ban, a store owner was selling snacks in Freeganj. The tehsildar reached the place and sealed the shop.
