Ujjain: Inaugurating the “Kill Corona-3 Campaign,” the Ujjain Municipal Corporation, together with the district administration, established two Covid-19 support centers in each of the city’s six areas.
Here, patients with colds and coughs will receive first aid, counseling and medicine will also be provided to residents from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
On the first day of Saturday, a total of 37 people took advantage of the first aid facilities at these centers.
Commissioner Kshitij Singhal inspected the centers on Saturday. He asked officials to ensure that all facilities are available for visitors, doctors and attendants at the center. Deputy Commissioner Kalyani Pandey was present.
Singhal told doctors that critically ill patients should be sent to Madhav Nagar government hospital, Charak government hospital or other district hospital, he added.
Centers have been set up in: Jiwajiganj Government Upper Secondary School and Valmiki Patti Bazaar Community Hall in Zone 1, Shaheed Nagar Community Building and Government School in Patel Nagar Community Building in Zone 2 , near Lakkadganj community hall and Bhikshuk Ghar Mahakal temple in zone number 3, girls HS School Dussehra Maidan and Nipn Manglik Parisar in zone number 4, behind Desai Nagar Loharpatti school and Dr Ambedkar Library and Research Institute located in the Social Justice Complex in Zone 5 and Zone 6 Office in Nanakheda and the Indira Nagar Nagjhiri Government School.
